I think that Samba just wants out of Blackburn, and would go anywhere. At this time, Im sure that it is only the Russain market that is still open......

Blackburn Rovers confirm Chris Samba move to Anzhi Makhachkala

Blackburn Rovers have confirmed Chris Samba has completed his move to Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old handed in a transfer request in January and has not played for Rovers since the 2-1 defeat to Stoke at the start of last month.
Samba was allowed to complete the deal as the Russian transfer window did not close until 2000 GMT on Friday.
Big-spending Anzhi recently named Guus Hiddink as manager.
    More to follow.

Shame, we could have done with him. Still, Это жизнь!

("that's life", for those who don't speak Russian - me, neither)

It's the wages we wouldn't be able to match, they're paying E'too around £300k a week so I'd guess Samba is on at least £100k a week...

Well Blackburn are down then. He was their best defender in an awful back four. I think they're not going to survive with that defence. You also consider that Wigan are all but down, everything seems a little brighter :)
