Blackburn Rovers confirm Chris Samba move to Anzhi Makhachkala

Blackburn Rovers have confirmed Chris Samba has completed his move to Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old handed in a transfer request in January and has not played for Rovers since the 2-1 defeat to Stoke at the start of last month.
Samba was allowed to complete the deal as the Russian transfer window did not close until 2000 GMT on Friday.
Big-spending Anzhi recently named Guus Hiddink as manager.

It's the wages we wouldn't be able to match, they're paying E'too around £300k a week so I'd guess Samba is on at least £100k a week...

 

Well Blackburn are down then. He was their best defender in an awful back four. I think they're not going to survive with that defence. You also consider that Wigan are all but down, everything seems a little brighter
