Seems to be that Putin is upping the ante on the world stage with his military might. Invasion of the Crimea etc. Is it time to pull the world cup from them? I know politics and sport shouldn't mix but in reality it does....thoughts?

If you took it away from the Russians would that mean FIFA would have to return all the plain brown envelopes they gathered in when Putin's mates were bidding for it?

If the media were to be believed, we won't have to worry about the 2018 world cup mate, because we'll probably all be dead following the nuclear war that is 'imminent'.

In the real world, we (should) know that the media are not privy to strategic military intelligence, so what we'll probably end up with is another crap world cup.

If I won tickets I'd probably burn them, I couldn't have it on my conscience selling tickets to somebody who went to Russia and got their head caved in because he's from England.

Backwards country, it'll be a complete farce but it won't surprise anybody, surely.

I went to Leningrad in 1970 and they had super markets then the same as we have now but no Russians shopped in them only tourists but they were like super futuristic certainly not backward.

Certainly is a backward country. Their way of thinking is archaic and bent. Vile people.

The politicians actually condoned the violence at the World Cup and told the hooligans to keep up the good work.

He is probably winding the Russkies up for a good twelve months celebration for the October 1917 glorious revolution.
