    Hi lads I don't think this saga dragging out is doing your club or Swansea any good.
    It looks like once the Championship fixtures are announced you will appoint RM as your new manager with a view that any compensation you have to pay will be as a championship club.

    If this happens then it probably means we enter a legal dispute which I would hope both sides want to avoid. That may involve RM being in a breach of contract situation with Southampton named as forcing the breach. If this happens then we go to arbitration to sort it all out!

    Hopefully both sides will get together and get a compromise but this would undoubtedly colour any possible transfer conversation that may take place.

    Think it's pretty unfair that your club wants to suggest that we were a Premier League team last year, when all of the available evidence is that we were no such thing.

    What goes on behind the scenes between business-type football people really doesn't interest me.

    Nah, it’s also not really the time of year where it matters anyway. Four weeks until the players are back in and saga or not, he’s able to chat to Wilcox and co on WhatsApp in this interim period. <laugh>

    Fixtures for the upcoming Sky Bet Championship campaign will be announced at 9am on Thursday 22nd June. The opening round of league fixtures will take place between Friday 4th August and Sunday 6th August, while the Carabao Cup will then get underway during the following week.10
