Just pay the 750k, we're likely going to try and sign 1 maybe 2 of their players, why risk the long term goals of the club.
Is this going to be settled in hours, days, weeks? Is this going to be another embarrassing Saints fiasco? Can someone make a decision?
I would’ve thought sometime next week. Swansea need the clarity as much as we do, if not more. Isn’t it half term this week anyway? Probably been spending some time with his kids based on that photo doing the rounds.
Maybe the delay is we are offering Eli in lieu of the £750k and Swansea are saying Eli and £1.5 million should cover it.
Although I expect him to go I think Moi could be an asset in the Championship. Don't forget he scored 14 goals in 44 appearances for Celtic (I know it's not the championship). He also works hard which we will need to do in the Championship.
That comment bounced me all over the place. Made me choke, angry & then sorta agree with you! Jeez, we’re in a pickle
Just watched the 56 pass clip. So they had 100% possession for what seemed like half an hour and still only scored one goal! The crowd had all gone home, the grounds man was on overtime and wanted to get home the day he left. Sounds good on paper but overrated. Shane Long would have been off side several times and then missed the goal.
I only care about what he does in a Saints shirt and he's never produced anything creatively as an AM for us. We have got better players especially if Tella and Smallbone return. I also don't think he'll suit RM's style, Ralph and Ruben loved him because he pressed and tracked back but does nothing with the ball.
Whilst I somewhat agree that his level is probably championship, and he could be OK… I just don’t think I can stomach watching more of him. Genuinely my least favourite Southampton player to watch of all time
