I'm no Mo Farrah but in less than 5 weeks I'm going to be doing a 9 mile run for charity. The question is, do I train for 5 weeks and put myself through pain for 5 weeks doing so, or - do I continue to eat like Michelle McManus and have her exercise routine until the big day and just go through 1 solid day of pain? It's the lazy mans dilemma, I tell ye.

I'd train if i was you as it will make it a lot easier on the day. I'm doing a 100km walking event this weekend - i'm not entirely confident that i'll complete it but i would be even less so had i not trained! Good luck
Cheers might try a run tonight, see if I can get some miles done. The route we're doing on the day is quite a bit uphill which is a bastard. I'm just about getting over them trev, building up to a full nights sleep soon The dreams you have after an Ibiza sesh are ****ing mad <nightmares>
