Does this team do it or not?

Also has anyone seen MFG? Anyone? Or is he stuck in January 2011?

  2. Henderson definitely would, Lucas, Aspas and Skrtel probably would too. I don't want to say much else because I'll get accused of being negative or miserable <ok>

I would say that Toure built the wall just to break through it. <ok>

Johnson came out worse for wear but certainly didnt back out of that challenge!!

Skrtel, Agger to throw in too, they defended like bosses today.

So is our plan B defend like hell then? Who said Rodgers had no plan B!!!!!

  6. I said Skrtel anyway <whistle>

I'm not sure about Agger, yes he'll get stuck in but he'd also prefer to do some acting at times <laugh>

    Maybe Enrique too.

  8. Again, I was hesitant for the same reason as I was for Johnson; their form is inconsistent over the seaosn and I think their performance depends what mood they are in. I have no doubt they are committed when in the right frame of mind but both are shocking when they can't be arsed.

On form, I don't think there is a better LB in the league than Enrique. However, Baines is more consistent and better going forward.

I actually think yes. He is one Everton player I respect, for his apparent love for his club. Good to see on any team. Same with evra. May not like them (I actually like both) but you have to respect them, at least for that.

    Plan A: Attack like hell

    Plan B: Defend like hell

Pretty simple. There is no in between. <laugh>

Johnson's attitude was right yesterday. He's a shadow of the player he was, but was solid.

Yeah, he was trying hard but not much was coming off for him. He'll run up and down that wing like a dog chasing a frisbee but his touch and awareness have gone and he's clumsy. Maybe it's the same thing that happened with Reina the last couple of seasons, there's been no real solid competition for his spot at RB so he's got complacent, plus those old bones aren't getting any younger, or maybe he's just not suited to playing Rodgers' style?

I think Wisdom is good enough competition (also solid yesterday). His defending is still alright, on the ball, getting past players has gone downhill.
