If anyone has been listening to Real Radio in the mornings they may well know about MARK ALLISON, he's the lad dubbed Run Geordie Run, he's almost finished his 100 day, 3100 mile run across the USA, he is doing this for charity, he deserves all our support if only for the effort he has put in, today is the 100th day & he has about 25 miles to go. I'd like to think all our thoughts are with him & I for one am willing him on. Good Luck, this is one of those times to put any possible rivalries to one side

Being a Geordie, did someone hang a fishing rod over his head with a Cheese pasty on it for motivation, just outta his reach?

Ill get slammed for saying this but he's from Consett so he's not a geordie.

On a serious note, he's doing a fantastic thing and he's raised a load of money, good on him.

    Absolutely.

Apparently, it's the equivalent of doing 2 marathons a day for 100 continuous days!

    Amazing.

Yer, BBC and ITV Newcastle will portray anyone as a Geordie when it suits...<laugh>
On a serious note I believe he is donating half of his charity money to a Sunderland children's hospice and half to a hospital in Newcastle, so I hope the whole of the North East can support this true modern day hero.

Did you know Brendan foster ran 100 miles a day in training !, good luck for Mark allison and hope he raises thousands of pounds, and Newcastle should let him do a lap of honour before the match.

<laugh> After completing the 3100 miles he's just tweeted to say "That's my training for the Great North Run don anyway"!'
