Premier League strugglers Sunderland will face competition from Palermo to land Manchester City starlet John Guidetti next month. Guidetti, who scored 20 goals in 23 matches while on loan at Feyenoord last term, has failed to appear this season and could be allowed to leave the Etihad Stadium in January. Sunderland have struggled in front of goal this year and their manager Martin O'Neill is expected to strengthen his attacking options when the transfer window opens. But Palermo CEO Pietro Lo Monaco has already held talks with City officials over the Sweden international and he is confident of luring the 20-year-old to Sicily.
He was prolific last season, but hasnt played this season, I don't think? Plus I would rather play Wickham.
I think I front three of Fletcher, Wickham and Guidetti would put us in good steading. Still worried about Connors game time though
