That Torres has withdrawn his transfer request.

Now, apparently Dalglish spent a while last night talking with Torres and trying to get him to reconsider.

I hope this is true, but I won't hold my breath. Even if it is true, will it mean Torres starts to begin his turn back to the liverpool player we once knew? Since he has reached his loyalty climax now I hope this is the lowest point he will drop, otherwise we will see him leave in Summer. I'm already quite convinced he will leave, and not completely against it - the only problem is who we get to replace him, the problem we had for years was relying too heavily on Torres, now we have suarez we'll need another world class striker if we are going to improve.

It seems to be a lot like the rooney and tevez situations earlier in the season, with a touch of berbatov's last few games at tottenham. Kenny just needs to persuade him to stay until the summer, and I think that'll do us.

Have already posted this on the Torres thread. It's all from relatively unknown people though on Twitter so I'm sceptical... Although a few people on RAWK seem to be of the impression that there are talks going on tonight between Chelsea and LFC so not sure what to think.

If this is the case then we are going to see a huge transfer fest in the summer. Possibly a huge weakening of the EPL too?
