They would be a great duo for Bolton imo.

Provided Bolton have their books in order, it's a great opportunity for both and I'm sure they'd do well.

SC IS ON THE SHORT LIST OF 2 Adkins is the other one..
actually thinking of Wadey going there, there must have been differences of opinion as when SC WAS SACKED they completely changed everything until LJ .. !

I believe the consortium led by Dean Holdsworth put in around £5m in order to stop a winding up order being invoked, and to pay the players wages.

But Bolton were the best part of £200m in debt before that, so I'm not sure if that has been restructured or repaid, or whether they might be under a transfer embargo at the start of the new season.

If there are still financial restrictions at Bolton then SC and WE could find themselves hamstrung.

The outgoing owner I believe was owed the lions share well over £120m? and has written it off!!!! they also land next door? so debts may well be in control at least if it happens he will have ZAK!

Bolton will name Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson as their new manager on Friday, BBC Radio Manchester reports.
Wanderers have been without a full-time boss since Neil Lennon left in March.
It had been thought that former Bristol City head coach Steve Cotterill and ex-Sheffield United manager Nigel Adkins were the frontrunners for the job.
But the League One club have instead turned to Parkinson, 48, who took charge of City in 2011 and helped them earn promotion from League Two in 2013.
