Match Day Thread Rumbled Chairboys v Royals 23rd Feb 21

The Chairboys return to Adams Park for their 31st league game of the season against the high flying Royals this local derby would have been one of those special games of the season but the pandemic and a run of bad luck that has lasted all season has conspired against us and we are left clutching at straws in our fight for survival but if our luck changes three wins against three of the top five in the next eight day would put us back in the mix.
I don't expect Gaz to make many changes but McCleary Muskwe Adeniran and Ofoborh are knocking at the door.
Well we have had the road map and we will be watching all the rest of the games this season on a screen so I will have the laptop connected to the TV watching the ifollow coverage hoping for the miracle to begin

When I watched the Preston game, Fred, Uche and the Admiral were brilliant up front, nothing against McCleary but, I’d prefer the Admiral.

 

Must be McCarthy.

 

Started off well but pretty uninspiring from then on. Stockdale doing OK. Two very good saves to keep us in it

 

0-0 at half-time still in with a chance

 

The problem is we started lively, got nowhere and fizzled oat whilst they have come more and more into the game and exploiting spaces in our defence. It's not looking good from where I'm sitting

 

Not much to write home about for us yet.
