Went off on a stretcher in agony with a double break. Colin was so sick he couldn't be interviewed about the 6-1 home defeat after the game. Turns out his leg isn't even broken! Waydago Col, that's how to avoid the flack!
I usually don't like him because he's a dirty sod and the Leeds fans, true to their reputation, revere him as a hero for being a dirty sod but I started to feel sorry for him after seeing his injury on FLS, it looked horrible. I don't think anyone has confirmed if he is alright or not yet.
All info so far still suggests it's a broken leg, only a tweet from Jamaica suggests otherwise and it seems that's probably bollocks.
What the **** was Warnock on about then? Deflecting a **** performance by his **** team by saying Austin had a double break no doubt. Desperate tactics by a man who knows he's on borrowed time. As for Austin, thought he was supposed to be a hard man? ****ing fairy. I once saw a documentary where a Royal Marine completed a 30 miler across Dartmoor with a broken ankle, never mind one that was merely 'cracked'. All it took was a few pain killers and plenty of grit.
But you don't risk the chance of it being kicked while on a run. Plus royal marines are ****ing hard bastards!
