I predict a great future for this lad. He reminds me of a raw Fabregas; very easy on the eye, good balance, can spot a pass (short or long) can beat a player for fun.

Not sure of his age, but apparently he was considered as 'outstanding' on the tour in Spain. I know we have a number of options in midfield, but l would like to see him introduced against Reading and beyond if considered good enough.

My one fear being that he may go the same way as Jenkinson if a bigger club were to show any interest. Does anyone know how long his current contract is for?

One season, but because of his age and nationality (I don't know the exact rules) we've had to sign him as a 'development player', although after watching him for 45 minutes at Welling, the only thing he really needs to develop, IMO is his build, as he's a bit of a titch.

He seemed to have time on the ball, his passing was accurate, but he was bundled off the ball a few times and unceremoniously dumped on his backside once or twice. For one fifteen minute spell, he was calling for, and receiving the ball from all angles and most of the play seemed to be channelled through him.

If we can give him decent run-outs in the JPT and LC and can actually hang on to him, because as a DP, he's very vulnerable, at some point in the not too distant future I'm sure he's going to be a very fine player indeed.

For a few years now he'd have walked into a position in our side for some games at least, now he's certainly behind Green, probably Alonso and maybe even Pritchard in the pecking order? Says a lot about our strength in depth. Would like to see him in the JPT at least, but hopefully in the Carling Cup, would be good to give our other guys a run out in that... to the extent that I'd be tempted to field an entirely 2nd XI.

    Team vs Reading

    Hamer

    Hughes, Mambo, Doc, Evina

    Pritchards, Alonso, Bover, Harriots

    Benno, Euell.

Could make for an entertaining game... would worry about the lack of experience on the left so probably wouldn't play that team, but something like it.
