R'S ENJOY EXTRA 'SHOOTING PRACTICE!' With the R's not in action this weekend due to the international break, Neil Warnock's men enjoyed a spot of team bonding when they went paintballing today (Tuesday). Messrs. Barton (pictured, right), Ferdinand and Wright-Phillips joined most of the First Team squad at the Delta Force Paintball centre in Maidenhead, Berkshire, as Warnock's backroom team went toe-to-toe with the players! The backroom staff (blue team) and players (red) took part in a series of battles on their given game zones, named 'The Black Pearl' and the 'Siege of Stalingrad.' The players just edged proceedings against a depleted staff side, who had to call on the services of Heidar Helguson and Bruno Andrade to even the teams up. Speaking to www.qpr.co.uk at the event, R's skipper Barton said: "The players won easily today, although the staff did get me quite badly at one stage! "It was really enjoyable though and it's great for team bonding. "It's days like this when you get to see the lads away from the training ground and have a little bit of time to bond together. "A few didn't turn up and there have been some excuses thrown in. "But no doubt they will be fined by the players' committee, which will contribute to some well-worthy charitable causes!"
