People always talk about that game but the thing is, Man Utd were a good team. When he played for ireland against Holland he won that game single handedly for Ireland. Even with ten men he bossed the entire game. Sendational player. Hugely demanding. I don't really know what he's like as a pundit. But I can guess.
At his peak he was untouchable as the best centre mid in the world. Comfortably. The bloke, to me, is a legend and twat in almost equal measure but I can't forget what he gave United so the legend bit wins out. I'm sure he hates everyone he meets though. Anything bar his dogs.
