Especially the way he makes Gareth Southgate quiver like a jellyfish! Honest man, top guy - unlike that fart and traitor Lawrenson, who is a queg.
He may well be right about last night but I'm not praising the ****. It's bad enough having to admit Neville is a good pundit.
Found it interesting that, a few commentators like Keane apart, the media were having a feast on the "United were robbed" kick. When I turned on Radio 5 that was the main theme but then slowly but surely common sense started to kick-in. Anyway, that's bye the bye. What amazes me is that those same commentators totally ignored the unprofessionalism of Ferguson in not appearing at the post match conference. An essential part of Ferguson's role is to represent the football interests of the club. It is one that he has fiercely demanded and used during his career.
I agree, he should have done the interview, it was a big game and he would have been happy to appear if they had won.
Twas funny watching Townsend do a complete turnaround when Keane said it was a red, before that the tool was talking through his arse till Keane straightened him out and he was all yeah it was a red I understand that but Nani intended to.. and Keane said, it doesn't matter what he intended The rest towed the line then. Good on you Keane, the only one to call it like it was.
i only channel hoped to see the score, but i did see the final whistle luckily, was Rio unprofessional-ism mentioned at all after wards. disgusting the way he was towards the ref, whether he felt they had been cheated or not, still unprofessional, and they made a big ****ing deal out of Suarez handball against Mansfield, the cocks!
While I personally think it was a yellow, Nani didn't make a good case for himself. Having been in that position many times before, looking over your shoulder as a high ball comes down, why he opted for his foot rather than head or even chest is a strange one. And even then he had his studs up. He wouldn't have been able to control the ball with his foot at that angle - would have toepoked or shinned it.
Who remembers all the fuss Nani made over Carragher's foul on him that time. Last nights foul by Nani was worse. So often players get punished for high feet, Nani should have known better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4by_jfIU3iY Roy Keane does irritate but I like that he speaks his mind.
It was a yellow for me, but who cares? Injustice happens all the time in football, you gripe about it for a while then you get over it when you realise as many bad decisions go for you as against you. Unless you're Chelsea and the "ghost goal", of course- in which case you go on about it 'til hell freezes.
With or without Nani, United lost the game because they could not defend properly. Hence Real scored 2 (well 3 if you count the og). They can't blame anybody but themselves and their manager who didn't bring a defender on to allow for the loss of a player. End of!
And if I remember correctly they had enough clear chances to go 3 2 up on the night as well, RvP ain't no Suarez
Totally agree with ye At 1st i thought he was going to be backing UTD to the hilt but he proved me different so for that he get's a thumbs up from me
"Out of Nani and Arbeloa, only one of them could see the collision coming, and he chose to run into Nani's foot, potentially endangering himself. With Nani in the air he could have easily won the ball off him, but he chose to run into him, we all know what Arbeloa was thinking. " Josehivers, Roy Keane thread, United board today. So it's official, it WAS all Arboloa's fault! The thing is, this is how United expect referees to behave in the Prem at OT. And Christ, the BBC have just said on the 1 o'clock news that the game was ruined by a 'wrong' refereeing decision - not an opinion of a fan, mind, but that's the official BBC line. ***s.
