As an employee of the FA, should the old fart be commenting on wether Mr Terry is guilty or not,his job is try to get a performance out of the bunch of wasters that have been selected to play for this great country not poking his nose in where it don't belong.
Terry will get away with it as he always does. Hodgson is experienced enough to know that he shouldn't comment but safe enough after the Euros to know that he'll get away with it as well. The England scene is very depressing at present...
This has come a day after Hodgson said whilst talking about the need for footbal players to emulate Olympic athletes and show "grace“, “humility”. He also praised Olympic athletes for “The way they showed and admitted their disappointment”. These are all quotes from Hodgson out of today’s paper. Hodgson is clearly a hypocrite and has gone down massively in my estimation of him.
I think there needs to be a footballing revolution in this country, the FA is not fit for purpose and needs to be in the hands of people who know about football. Every single time there an important decision to make they make the wrong choice.
Hodgson doesn't want what happened to Postman Pat to happen to him. Terry ruled that England team with his little mates. He is now doing the same with Woy. Until they can finally get shot of him (Terry) Hodgson has to suck up the the bastard and support him or he knows that things will go against him in the England dressing room.
Hes a prick, hed rather have a guilty man get off so he can play than have justice and not being able to play him. Absolutely no morals at all, I wonder what the black players think of him saying that. This could be the end of him and things may go tits up now,
He said the athletes handled themselves better than footballers then defended a racist. Didnt he say he wasnt going to comment and then did comment? Hes a hypocrite.
Because he is manager of the football team and he nor his player are showing 'grace' and neither has he "showed and admitted disappointment". Terry was found not guilty in a criminal court because of the burden of proof is so high and must be beyond all reasonable doubt. There is more than enough evidence to convict him under the lower burden of proof needed by the FA or a civil court. Therfore he should show some grace and show and admit his disappointment that a former england captain decided to call an opporistion player a black c*nt.
Because he's frightened of them, don't pick him and the rest of the Chelsea scum will get him sacked.
I think its the other way round, keep on picking them and England will never succeed and he will get sacked.
Latest Hodgson quote: "the young players have to prove that they are better than the old players". Cue another four years of Lampard, Terry, Cole and Failure...
Which Ferdinand? Not Anton I trust, who after all has never been subject to any FA charge, nor has he spoken out of turn about anything..,
