Easter captain! Not sure why. Has hardly played for us. Parkes or even Sinclair would make a better captain I think!

Lines has a slight injury so not risked. Should be back at the weekend. McChrystal and Mansell still out.

    Half time 0-0.

We have done well so far. Not really created anything - seems the same old story - but we have been solid though and kept Brum away from any chances either. Rovers have had several set pieces but yet to trouble Brum apart from 1 free kick from Gosling which went just wide. Brums only chance has been fromour own doing. Parkes mistake at the back let Brum in 1 on 1 with Mildenhall but shot over the bar! Other than that, we have done well and sounds so far an improvement from Saturday. But our lack of creativity is a massive worry so far. Neither side sound like they will score.

Our next 2 games is against Yeovil and Luton.

Yeovil currently losing against QPR 2-0
Luton currently winning against City 1-0

Akinde has scored yet another pen for Barnet!
    Monkhouse has scored for Grimsby.

Game has got a lot better. Chances coming thick and fast for both sides. We sound more likely though at the moment!

Typical. They score 1st. Poor error again at the the back gifting Brum, this time they didnt waste it. We have had enough chances to be in front but we have gifted the game to them. Heads have dropped. Wont be surprised if we concede again.

Didn't make the game tonight, looked on twitter and got the impression that Rovers played much better than Saturday, was this the case or were the Birmingham defenders much shorter than the Northampton defenders and Rovers got away with playing the longball game as a result

Sounded like we were just better than Saturday. Didnt hear any hoofball/long balls remarks from commentators.

A much better performance...Lockyer was very good back in his natural position.
Ledbetter always a threat down the right.
I think Mildenhall's past it, his reactions are slowing down
    1,000 + Brummies.
    Interesting selection questions for Saturday.

Even I am beginning to think you are right about Mildenhall. Saturday he headed the ball when he could have collected it easily in his hands! I seen the 2nd goal last night for Brum and im not sure how Mildenhall missed it. The 1st goal was a bit strange too between him and Leadbitter!

But Puddy is still out and is Preston ready to be starting games?

Good to see Leadbitter, Locker and Gosling have good games. It's probably going to take DC a few games to settle on his best side.

One of the better performances I have seen in recent seasons they really need to play like this against Yeovil and hoping it wasn't a one off.

I would like to see Harrison and Taylor given a run. I think DC feels a pressure to play Easter for obvious reasons, but I think that Taylor and Harrison have built a pretty good understanding which was shown again against Birmingham.

I wonder Pirate49 if that's why DC had the GK on trial who wasn't fit enough to play because of an injury, maybe he has doubts to
