I've been looking in the gasroom a lot since saturday and they are in total meltdown. I hate seeing teams lose their football league status but it's part of football today and it could have been us and with all the stick on various forums since losing at home to them now it's our turn to laugh and gloat! <laugh><laugh><party>

There are a lot of those videos around. People just change the text and they are always amusing.

PS. How does one get to read what's on the Gasroom

    It's OK. I got there.

It seems very active but I hate the format. I don't find it very inviting. I'm sure if they used a similar format to here it would be great, assuming the members are friendly. Presumably has a lot of members and is the reason it's relatively quiet on here.

I can't find any statistics on there (eg lists/number of members, number of users on line, number of threads, posts, views, replies etc). Are they available?

What a bloody awful format - and why is it called the Gasroom - we've got the copyright on that word?!

I'm surprised at some of the vitriol towards Rovers on there. There's never been much of a Rovers-Wycombe rivalry - certainly not on this forum where relations have always been rather cordial. Sure you've sent us down a couple of times, but then who hasn't?!

I'm pretty sure us Gasheads on here wouldn't have gloated if you'd fallen through the trapdoor. Relegation is one thing, losing your football league status is another thing entirely.

I agree Bluebaldee. None of us here wanted to see you relegated. But I have to say it was some relief it wasn't us. Gloating is totally out of place ................................. unless it's Colchester or Oxford maybe.

Go to the Football League/Non League forum there is a bit more sense on there concerning Bristol Rovers always remember you never c**p on the person on the way up unless you want the same on the way down

Just watched the video on you tube I think there is one problem Skrill are no longer the sponsors they pulled out after one season & for heavens sake don't tell the Gasheads that the chairman of the Conference is an old friend of us older supporters Brian Lee

Never had a problem with Rovers, especially the guys on here. Sadly the pitch invasion at Adams Park, which you could have understood had it been the last game of the season. Followed by a lot of abusive messages from gasheads on various forums, left a bitter taste. Never seen anything negative prior to that. Sadly the usual idiots cause the animosity

One thing relegation teaches you is to never gloat too much. It always comes back to bite :wink:

I enjoyed our conference days. Visiting some really strange little grounds had a charm about it and the club and fans felt more as one back then. I remember an away day at Bromsgrove Rovers where all the fans swapped ends at half time....bloody hilarious. There was a thousand or more of us and they had to delay the second half whilst everyone moved around.
Don't be too down about relegation as the conference isn't all bad (perhaps financially). Chances are you will be back very soon
