    Hey lads, just need some help for a public health report.

    In your opinion what is the roughest area of Newcastle (incl Gateshead)?

    Walker, Byker, Fawdon, Kenton and Cowgate are regarded by some as being among the roughest areas, but I haven't been to any of those places for quite a while so I'm not really the best person to ask.

    Of course there's always decent people living in those area's, they can't always choose where they live.

    Some are more fortunate than others.

    Mate of mine's a landscape architect and he used to work for the NT Council. Did some work in Byker to improve the environment with new plantings etc. and they used to get stoned round there. With real stones, like, not spliff :)

    Works for himself out of North Shields these days. Much safer!

    Comes with the job mate. Its a ****ing hell hole in the main. They're not all bell ends and scum balls, they just have a hgihger percentage than anywhere else!
