Match preview;
So, another change...Ainsworth gone and another surprise new arrival coming slightly from left field. Some on here were certain it would be Warnock, and a few other names were mentioned...then Martí Cifuentes appeared. As has been posted on the new manager thread, he obviously has plans to get us playing exciting, attacked football, with the ball on the surface. It is easy to talk the talk, and say all the right things...but we need to see some fruit and changes on the pitch and we need to see it fast. We are now 23rd in the table, with 2 wins, 2 draws and 10 losses...and most worryingly for me, are now 6 points away from 21st and safety. Our top scorer is Kenneth Paal, a left back. Martí needs to work some magic asap!

As for our hosts, they have lost 3, drawn 2 and won 1 of their last five, and they sit 1 place and 1 point above us, so 22nd with 9 points. Their top scorer is Jordan Hugill, with 3 goals. They are managed by 41 year old, Matt Taylor, who took over in October 2022 and has since won 10, drawn 16 and lost 26. His summer signings included Grant Hall and Cafu...not the Brazilian one though.

Team news and manager comments to go up asap, enjoy if you are making the trip, and as always, or no, lets go for a new one...

...MARTI CIFUENTES' BLUE AND WHITE ARMY!!!!

Big relegation battle already early November. Not sure Cifuentes can take the team until he gets a work permit or how long that takes. No Colbakk or Dozzell available in midfield, and possibly Field needed again at the back. Hope we use Chair and Willock in that midfield and try to play through Rotherham.
