Rotherham have a poor record at home having only won 2 games (22%) Gillingham away have 25%. come on you Gills.
well didn't expect anything from this game. Next week match at Notts County much more important as they are as bad as us.
4 - 1 ..............4 - 1.................4 - 1 Back to the old midfield and back to the same rubbish, Lee and Whelpdale need replacing with Dack and Hess fast, it might not work but the others have had their chance and failed.
I keep saying give the youngsters a chance...can't be any worse than getting hammered at Wolves and Rotherham now. Also what is the problem with playing Davies and Essam before him. Why keep playing Barrett just because he wear's the Captains armband - means absolute jack to me. Not saying he was to blame i weren't at the game but i think i've seen enough this season to make a judgement.
I wasn't there either brb, waiting for the lonely angry camel to fill us in, it did sound like the midfield went missing again, no cover for the defence and no supply to the forwards.
I was going to get tickets for the Tranmere game on Monday, trouble is if ***an,Moushino and Hewitt aren't available it's a long way to go for dross.
From everything I've heard and read, Rotherham were outstsanding, especially in the 1st half. They are top 6 for a reason. I think it's best to just move on. I'm not going to get suicidal over it. Only pity is all the injuries mounting up. Mousinho done a hammy now...
I feel for any fans that travelled and paid money to watch the game,as it sounded dreadful. From the moment the commentary started we were on the back foot, and Rotherham were dominant.Once they got the second it did feel it was a case of how many.We were 3-0 down on 35 minutes, and lost our best performing player at the time Mousinho to a hamstring injury. The second half did sound a bit better, but was that due to Rotherham taking their foot off the gas? We brought on Bayo and he made a quick impact in setting up Cody for his goal, then Rotherham seemed to up it again and eventually got their fourth goal. The result hurts because we were the best Team in League Two last season, and Rotherham,Bradford, and even Port Vale are doing better than us.I do feel we underestimated the League.Saying that Rotherham dominated us at their place last season, but we sneaked the win. Rotherham have a Squad full of quality, and have spent well. Its a shame to say,but our fate will not decided with games against Rotherham this season.Notts County next week could well be with them being down the bottom of the League. If we win the game it could be massive as the other Teams will not play their fixtures for this game until Tuesday 28th January.Hopefully we will be right up for that game and get a result.
I've put up my camel thread on the game. I've tried to take out some of the pain ! To expand a little on the actual play - we were slow to react to the movement of the Rotherham players - at the same time they (Millers) moved off the ball really well - thus creating acres of space for them to attack us at will ( and with pace ). It could - and probably should have been a lot worse in terms of the score.
KFG yes you won league last year but you werent best team in the league, under maddog your tactis were to foul, fall over stop the play all the time, however this year you cant get away with it in this league, thought sat u looked liked a league 2 side, yes Its not his team and we have a bigger budget, we bought last year in league 2 that could play higher, a gamble that paid off, so in a way we are 12 months in front of what Taylor may want . Anyway thats how I see it, good luck this season. Utm x x
Err, have a look at last seasons table again buddy. We got 4 more points than you, and it would've been 7 or 10 more if we hadn't relaxed once promoted. You may have had the best team for the last 10, but we were most definitely the best team over 46 games. And on what do you base us being fouling and fall-over merchants? The two games we beat you in? Besides, "best team" doesn't mean prettiest team. Otherwise Spurs or West Ham would win the Prem every year wouldn't they? Anyway, you most definitely have a better squad this year and look a prospect for back-to-back promo's. It's just a pity about your leader. Don't mind Rotherham other than him. Good luck.
Our leader is wanted by sheff wed, hope he tells them to **** off... Anyway good luck this season, think there are worst teams than you this year, think Taylor is good manager and come januaryn could be your turning point x x
