On the back of our inspiring 0-0 draw with Wigan ( take a bow Spanish, certainly number 1 poster since that result ) we go to America to the New York arena for the 47th game.........

Rotherham seem to be former Ipswich 11. Wordsworth/ Taylor/ Loach no longer are kicking there, however Richardson, Green, and the CONNOR SAMMON are. He's bound to score isn't he? How football works.

This game provides the ideal opportunity to bounce back. Like Wigan, Rotherham need points on the board and are down the wrong end of the table. They have some class like Hammill, and certainly won't be pushovers especially at their home patch. That said, if we harbour any ambitions of coming top two ( considering our rivals have added some players ) it's the kind of game we need to win.

Will Mick change the shape, and go back to the 4-3-3 which worked wonders earlier in the season? I have a feeling he may for this one...........

    Bialokowski

    Parr/ Berra/ Chambers/ Mings

    Tabb / Skuse

    McGoldrick Bishop Sears

    Murphy

I know we have a small squad but we can manage more than 8 players, surely??

    Edited guys haha!

I think lets go back to the 4-3-3 system that got us to where we are now. 2 holders 3 behind Murphy. Lets get the Bish further forward!

I agree with going back to the 4-3-3 it seemed to be that switch which made the change last time and I think it's because we're very rigid in a 442. Murphy and McGoldrick are pretty static upfront in a 442 in a 433 though they have alot of runners around them to open up the space. Then in a 442 we workhorse wingers

For me this would be my starting 11,

    Bart

    Chambers
    Smith
    Berra

    Parr
    Bishop
    Bru
    Mings

    Ambrose

    Sears
    Murphy

You wouldnt need a DM in the centre as you are playing with 3 CB's, so its goodbye to Skuse and Tabb, hello attacking football with creativity!!

If i had to go 442 like Mick favours then it would have to be

    Bart

    Parr
    Chambers
    Berra
    Mings

    Ambrose
    Bishop
    Bru
    Hunt

    Murphy
    Sears

Sorry but i hate the def midfielder, would rather you give opposition something to worry about, not worry about the opposition and try to negate them!!

I like both teams there Spanish, I would love us to play 3 at the back, that was always my preferred formation when I played at CB. just more flexible going forward and defensively.

can somebody answer me this, why Is Tommy playing on the right hand side of the centre backs at the moment? he is ****ing **** at clearing the ball with his right foot.

Maybe because Berra helps Ty out or because after he had been paired with Chambo for a bit he didn't want to switch back again. Being our best defender, he can play whichever side he wants as far as I'm concerned.

I fancy us to respond to some recent disappointing performances... not with a great performance but with a solid win.

Murph to bundle in an early opener, then the usual jitters but a 2nd half goal from Tabb and then Sears late on give us the 3-0 win. Not as emphatic as the scoreline would suggest but putting us back in the groove <ok>

Apart from the bizarre 4-2 home win vs Bolton this lot seem there for the taking to me.

Get three points on the board any old how ! 1-0 would do me.

3-0/4-0 predictions would be up there with our biggest away wins of the past 10 years! What big away wins spring to mind?

3-0 at Cardiff Keane's first ever game
    5-2 at Hull

We don't batter teams on the road.
