Rotherham have completed deals for ex-Brighton striker Chris Holroyd and Stevenage defender Luke Foster from Stevenage, the BBC reports.

Holroyd, aged 24, has signed a two-year deal, after two loan spells in League Two last season with promotion-winning Bury and Stevenage.

Foster, aged 25, joins on a one-year contract with an option to extend for a second year.

He played 23 times for Stevenage as they made it to the play-offs and won promotion to League One.

Foster told the Millers website: "Rotherham has a bright future and I want to be part of that.

"I definitely think we've got a squad capable of winning promotion next season."

Ex-Oxford United, Sheffield Wednesday, Lincoln and Mansfield player Foster joined Stevenage last summer.

Seagulls manager Gus Poyet released Holroyd after his side secured promotion as League One champions.

Holroyd grabbed six goals in 12 games for Stevenage and one in four for Bury.
