http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...-to-work-with-Nigel-Clough-article862095.html Bit of an odd one this. From our point of view it doesnt say much for the working conditions at the club if true.
This story was written many weeks ago and nothing happened. I worry not about this as if Ross Wilson was to go I am sure Malky Mackay would have been calling. I like typing in Google Chrome the system does spelling checks when I write.
Berks, look at the date of the article - 5th Feb, so a fortnight ago which was before SD said that RW and him were doing all they possibly could to bring someone in on loan. Does that sound like someone who's just about to jump ship?
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...Director-of-Football-plans-article867080.html This was dated yesterday......anyway, i wouldn't expect Wilson to stop doing his job until he leaves so to say that he is working on bringing a loan player in is no proof that he won't be leaving.
Even if there is something in this, he will almost certainly have a period of compulsory gardening leave stipulated in his contract.
I thought 'contracts' were part of RW's remit? This is just a bit of lazy journalism I reckon - it is over 2 weeks old - hope nothing comes of it & it has died a natural death
Gives a bit of news on this story, but looks as if there was some interest to start with. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9543170.Wilson_keen_to_remain_at_Watford/
Lets hope this doesnt happen as we need stability at all levels of the club. I also hope the first thing in Ross's to do list is sort out a new long term contract for Sean Murray. One that protects both the club and the player.
