    Cheeky January signing?

I know hes an attacking midfielder atm but hes got all the attributes to be a centre midfielder.

He'd be a great signing, the lad is a very talented footballer and imo has plenty more to show, nowhere near his peak yet.
I think he'd cost a few bob, one of the best talents in the PL right now.

Wonder if us having moyes is a good or a bad thing in terms of our chances of signing Barkley.

I think money will be the key, cash Everton can't say no to.barkley is a big part of how well they are doing so it will have to be a good fee to bring him in, but.. given his age and obvious talent you would be buying a player with all of his career in front of him so a hefty fee I think would be worth shelling out for him, same situation as Rooney really. He's paid for himself a few times over and then some

See I think Gareth Barry is the reason Everton are doing well. I've never been a big fan of Barry, but when I've watched them I've been most impressed with him. He does the simple things very well, he breaks up play makes a good pass and helps keep possession.

Be easier if Utd and Everton just merged.

    But you already have Carrick<whistle>

Everton have been pretty good all over the pitch, Lukaku is also a huge boost for them, what was Jose thinking<doh> if Everton finish near or above Chelsea, unlikely, but if it happened it would be the biggest managerial blunder ever

    35million?

Reckon a cash plus player deal might work.

Anderson and 30million? Cleverley? Zaha on loan?

He's a very good player and it would take a big fee for him to move. He's also an Everton fan and may not want to leave.

Knew it wouldn't be long before you lot started sniffing.

To be fair he's better than Cleverley (not many aren't) and has more potential than Fellani.

But Everton are better than they used to be and he may wish to stay.

Send Avatar back, that smash and grab looked good at Everton, he's just gonna get sent off 20 times in the rest of his United career anyway and tbh he looks out of place in a team that wants to play fast attacking quality football.

I doubt they'll take Anderson. Loan januzaj to them and give them back Avatar and 35m

    So is rooney.

I think he would find it hard to say no to united. Hw only has to look at the last seriously talented toffee and the career hes had.

I also think you might need to be above Everton in Jan for him to decide to leave, martinez might just be convincing him Everton can do well

Would he play if he joined in january? He'll be competing with Rooney/kagawa for that AM/Second striker spot.

Far too risky to play him in CM, that's why i think it's best to leave him at everton for a couple more years.

Rooney's career with Ferguson in charge with a possible Barkley with Moyes in charge?

Admit it, the allure of Utd is fading.

    Sure he would get games.

He can play anywhere in attack bar as a striker. Against smaller sides he would be a good option in midfield alongside Carrick.

I mean weve coped with cleverley there so...
