"It doesn't matter how many step-overs or how many tricks you do, we need an end product," he added when asked about Brady. "Robbie has got that in abundance, I'd never dispute that, but maybe it's not time for tricks. "When big Del (Adebola) came on against Palace and we got balls into the box, we looked much more dangerous. Maybe that's the way we need to go. "We need a goal. It can go in off someone's backside, an own goal, anything. That will then get us going because the football that we're playing is good." Rosie continues to impress me, both on and off the pitch, he talks a lot of sense and I still can't believe we got him on a free. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-13214387-detail/story.html?
Give him the next season or so, may become even better signing that Turner, how we got him on a free is great, he could easily be a 3 or 4 million quid signing for a lower mid table prem team
Rosenior was talking/shouting to Brady a lot during the palace game, and didn't seem happy with him most the time while Brady was playing on the right. I think like Stewart last season after a few games in the side Brady will start to make better decisions. Rosenior is probably the ideal player to have just behind him telling him what to do.
Rosenior should be captain. His interviews are always very good, he speaks very well. Plus he's really consistent.
Rosie has been best signing for about the last 4 years, have to afgree with him on brady thus far though starting to remind me of Bostock at the minute always to many touchs instead of taking a quicker option.
It has indeed, banned at the same meeting where it was decided to stupidly cut the bench from seven to five players.
I don't understand why the FL league think it's bad that play can be resumed quicker? It's almost like there is only one ball in the KC and we have to wait for the crowd to dig it out. While they're doing that, we could be getting on with it! So what's wrong with having a ballboy with a ball next to him to throw a ball back into play if one goes sky high?
Too many clubs were taking the piss, getting balls too their own players quickly, but fannying around when the opposition wanted the ball, so they decided to level the playing field.
That maybe so but what about the fans we pay to watch 90 minutes of football and the longer the ball is on the pitch the better. As usual it is the lowest common denominator just because some clubs don´t play the game we all have to suffer. Perhaps now that so many players roll around claiming to be injured we ban the trainer coming onto the pitch. A stupid idea I know but it is the same principal.
