Rosenior is such a good player I wonder why Kean threw him out of Ipswich. I think It shows just how good a manager Kean was. So Where is he now?
He was only at Ipswich on loan and I believe Keane would have left by the time his loan finished. Not sure Liam has ever commanded a fee in a transfer - his only cash move was an exchange for Seol Ki Hyeon
Reading came in for him when they were promoted to the Premier League and he was part of a deal that took Seol Ki-Hyeon the other way(I bet Fulham regretted that one). It was Keane's decision not to offer him a deal, which was odd, as he brought him in and played him in almost every game the previous season.
the problem was that Liam Rosenior was not @ Sunderland at the time. RK was only interested in black cat players
Rosenior is fantastic always rated him. When we got him I was totally confused at why he didn't have a club and as a few will remember I kept banging on on the old 606 about how we should get him. I kept getting shot down being told we had a perfectly good RB in McShane and we didn't need him, and that if he'd been that long without a club he can't be very good. Then lo and behold we go and sign him and everyone loves him!
Good call MT, admittingly didnt know anything about Rosey before he played for us, but it was clear from the outset he could play in this division and he has excelled my expectations of a budget signing. Although I have nothing against Macca, admittingly the PL may have been a tad to high for him at times but he,s okish IMO in this division.
reason why he didnt have a club when we signed him was because his agent had told him to wait as prem clubs were looking at him then it ****ed up and he came to us, hes happy to be here aswell
