No the Trofeo Lorenzo Bandini is not an award named in my honour but a tribute to the leading Italian driver of the 60s who burned to death during the Monaco Grand Prix in 1967. The trophy originated in 1992 after the 25th death anniversary of Bandini and is now organized annually by the council of Bandiniââ¬â¢s home town in Brisighella, Italy.
