I think yes, but don't see a change in the grid as it is not conclusive and I don't think it was pre-planned. He knew he had made a mistake into out of Casino Square down to Mirebeau and then made the best out of it to bring the yellows out to make sure no one could beat his time. Either way, he has got into Hamilton's head, which is what he needed to do to turn the tables on how the last 4 races have gone. I say genuine mistake to start with, but did what he had to make sure the yellows get out as I think he could have made the corner if he wished.
Same thought here. I'm not going to vote in the poll, as the more i see it, the less innocent it looks, yet Nico doesn't strike me as the type who would do that on purpose, so i'm just confused.
It's the reversing that has me thinking too. Yes he had to get the car back to the pits, but he waited at the end of the pitlane for 45 seconds, so twenty seconds or so wouldn't be an issue. I also can't imagine the team not being immediately on the radio telling him to wait as they knew Hamilton was coming, and Nico should have known Hamilton was behind anyway.
You've pretty much just called the whole forum idiots then? Even those who rarely stick up for Hamilton are saying it is suspicious (though they are quite rightly giving him stick for his childish reaction to it)
You've pretty much just called the whole forum idiots then? The stewards have reason to question it too
Deliberate in my opinion. Looked like he was trying to destabilise the car under braking. I think he probably approached that lap throwing caution to the wind, knowing if he drove ultra-aggressive and kept it clean he'd get pole, and if he hit the wall he'd ruin Hamilton's lap. As it was he made a mistake and lost time so had to manufacture an incident to bring out the yellow flags. I can't see the stewards being able to prove anything one way or another, but at least they're going to make him sweat for a bit.

I've watched it 10 more times now, analysing every little detail, and each time, i'm sorry to say, it looks worse for him. The way he's sawing at the wheel when their isn't any oversteer to counter is very unusual, like he's trying to induce oversteer rather than counter any.
