We have zero cash and are out of the running to pick up a any decent strikers or midfielders to bolster the squad. So whats to talk about Gasheads.... all the talk has been are the top clubs going to get there man or will it all end in tears on Sept 2nd So where are they going or are they going at all talk about brinkmanship. Bale is a dead cert for Real Madrid who could resist that sort of cash especially given the fact that Tottenham have already splashed out serious money Suarez-good player but is he worth the money Arsne?Liverpool think or are greedy in thinking he is worth more than the current offer, however Suarez's departure would leave Liverpool without its most prolific scorer so on that alone why would they wish to sell him.Or are Arsenal just putting the heat under a possible transfer of Rooney David Moyes, the United manager, is adamant that Rooney is not for sale you got to laugh as Moyes successfully sued Rooney over allegations in his autobiography (perhaps the relationship is mended), however Moyes stated Rooneys cover for Robin van Persie -- a kick in the teeth or just a slip of the tounge you decide since then the signals are that Rooney is no longer as happy with UTD as he once was.Seeing a weakness Chelseas special one has had a few nibbles to ramp up the pressure on the situation all rebuffed by UTD. Rooney is a gonner or perhaps a gunner Arsne Wenger was unsuccessfull picking up Higuan as for Suarez he is probably not worth £40m +£1 especially as he carries a lot of baggae and a 6 match ban.He will need a marque signing to appease the fans and may turn to Rooney and fight Mourinio for the striker that would be class and funny since RVP went the other way last season. As for Fabregas would he go back to Arsenal for £25m as they have first refusal? although Man Utd are chasing Barcelona hard for the player as they are short in midfield and Moyes requires a big signing for his first season in charge of MU Funnily enough Fabregas shares the same agent as RVP interesting. So its down to who blinks first and then it will all take shape Views from the terraces Man Utd - Sell Rooney and lose out on Fabregas that would be seriously funny. View attachment 25263 Chelsea - Rooney or bust (Rooney would prob prefer to join Chelsea than Arsenal) Arsenal - Rooney or Suarez Arsne Wenger is desperate to spend some cash and has to buy someone.Cannot see Fabregas moving back to the Gunners or them paying more for Suarez. Real Madrid-Bale the only dead cert If I was a prem league manager (dream on Carry On) I would look at picking up a few players from Real Madrid as they will wish to balance the books if the sign Bale also Ronaldo will be upset that they paid more for Bale than him and he may end up with a higher salary. Or, quite possibly, very little money could change hands other than improved contracts. Instead, the leading protaganists players will stay put.(for the time being anyway) Views and comments Gasheads COR View attachment 25264
Barcelona-Higuan currently playing and scoring for the Spanish champions 50/50 move to Arsenal maybe if the price is right. Higuain played for Real Madrid not Barca and he completed his move To Napoli for 35m a couple of weeks ago
Really gone past caring about that lot. I'll take a passing interest in the Premier League but these sagas are just like the Royal Baby story...'Over now to Gerald for the latest news'.....'No news here Dave, but here's a clip of a passing Range Rover'.....'OK Gerald, back to you soon'..................
Stand corrected Shiny complete brain fade on the Higuan front Dont think anyones interested anyway P49 View attachment 25272 COR
i watch the prem games when i get chance on sundays and week days. i watch spanish league too. if football is on i try and watch it. i think bale is sure to go to madrid. fabregas will stay at barca. i think rooney will go but i think he may end up abroad. if not then chelsea over arsenal. suarez wants to leave pool, whats the point in keeping him if he is dying to go. i cant believe anyone would want him with the baggage he has. how many games is he already suspended for? 8 games is it? thats nearly a quarter of a season without him. i wouldnt pay £30million for a player who is out for 8 games and no doubt will get suspended again when he returns and then cry about it and blame the british press. wenger must be crazy to show any interest.
Agree CJ however its been confirmed if you believe statements Fabregas-Not moving loves Barca-oops leaves Moyes with hoping a £40m bid will spike interest, fat chance. So he is left with picking up Fellini (Not a UTD type of player) and Baines who would fit MU probably for way to much cash. In my opinion MU will struggle under Moyes and the new CEO Woodward this season especially as the midfield is in need of drastic surgery with Giggs another year older Scolesy retired Fletcher carrying an illness, the defence is aging with Vidic and Ferdinand Evra not quite the players they were.I would suggest that players are waiting to see what happens before they make a career decision to move there I wonder if RVP would have gone there if Moyes had of been the manager and Woodward the CEO?I cannot see them winning much this year especially the champions league, if Rooney leaves and they do not strengthen the squad. Suarez- Moore says no go on selling to Arsenal its to late, would £51m really tempt them to sell. Its far to much money for a troubled player who will want to move on in a couple of years to a spanish club, however Arsne is desperate for a marque signing. If I was Liverpool I would take the money and run only agree if its done quickly so that Rodgers can pick up replacementsits far to much money to turn down. Rooney- Arsenal need to pop a sneaky bid on the table to test MU's and Chelsea's metal remember Chelsea tried but failed to get Gerrard this could be the same. Alvaro Morata- Arsenal could put in a decent bid for this excellent young midfielder which may help Perez's cash flow problem in the deal for Bale. Bale-Levy wants way to much for Bale and the dream deal could fade away if it does not go ahead he will have a misfiring player on his hands next season and may have to sell him at a reduced price dont be to greedy Mr Levy sell at the top.
