    Morning Sgt,

    Not on your nelly!!

I saw the slo mo and he kicked the guy TWICE - the first one didn't do the job, the second one did - and he wants to be captain!!

He is a liability at international level, probably because he is surrounded by cr4p!

Still remember his antics at the Brit and who got sent off!!!

    A nasty little man

Now we know Rooney will be missing the first 3 games, no way would I take Rooney..
Two reasons.. like Nick has said, he didn't just kick the guy once. 2nd time he made sure he got him.. an absolute tool and he deserves to miss out.

    2. Because as said above, I honestly do not think we can win it with or without Rooney. Give someone else a chance for the future. See what they can do. it will be good exerience and that can only be a plus for England as a team.

Sad, because there is no doubting his ability, his passion, his aggression is fine if he uses it correctly. What he did not only let himself down but anyone who wants England to do as well as is possible. He MIGHT learn from this.. lets hope he does. IF he does'nt learn he's a liability which we can not afford.

Just reading the local rag i.e. the Sentinel.. Crouch is mentioned well all I can say is.. let's hope he does well for Stoke first and I'm sure he will do. IF Mr Carp Fellow decides to call him up great. If not, like I said give those like Bent a chance to prove they have what it takes.

Let's say this.. IF the Manager decides to take Rooney and we get through the group stages which, we should do. What then happens if those replacing Rooney have done well?
Do we just then say, thanks but no thanks.. I say go with WHO can play not those who have let both themselves and the country down.
