Surely in the week when Richard Scudamore makes an attempt to clean the game up behaviourwise then keeping your nose clean first game up would be the obvious thing to dbviously not if you are from the underclass and as thick as Rooney.There must be an Fa charge of bringing the game into disrepute filed on Monday morning with a minimum 3 game ban.What a shame he'll miss the semi final while his class equal will be watching from the stands.Horrible people horrible club
Under class? You can criticise him for many things but to cite his class is typical of the snobbish attitude towards football that exists in this country. Every week we see rugby players punching, gouging and kicking yet it's laughed off with the usual "boys will be boys" but then it happens on a football field all hell breaks loose. Just look at the ridiculous furore that followed the recent OF game where there was a wee bit of shoving and a few verbals. Our politicians held a ****ing summit and the police threatened to ban fans from the game. I'm not condoning Wayne Rooney. The man is an immature, poorly developed adult who just happens to be a decent footballer in a time when being okay at football earns you big money. But to cite his class status is utterly wrong.
