    I hope so got a feeling Messi will get it for his player of the tournament award at the World Cup <whistle>

    I hope though that the voters will see sense, and realise how undeserved that award was for Messi, and vote Ronaldo for POTY again:biggrin:

    Nah, plenty of players did better overall. Costa led Atletico to La Liga, Ronaldo scored 51 in 47 games, Messi and Ibrahimovic both scored 41, Neuer, Robben and Muller were all outstanding for Bayern and internationally.

    Suarez did great considering he was playing in such an ordinary team, and was the best in England, but not good enough to be one of the best in the world considering how poor the PL was last year. Probably top ten imo.

    Suarez ruined any chance of winning it with his Count Duckula impersonation at the World Cup. No chance a player getting banned from the tournament and then for the next 3/4 months is going to even be nominated.
