Watched that game last night after work and the best part of the game (2nd half is all I saw) was the 'pile-on' when CR7 scored the 3rd. :)

He might be a world class player but it has to be said that his hair was a disgrace last night.

If Ronaldo doesn't win the Ballon D'Or this time then it's a fix...

He's scored more goals since Janmuary than Liverpool FC.

It's so obvious he'll win it, he's way ahead of Messi in the scoring charts cos he's been injured a lot of the time

Yup - Ronaldo chasing everybody down and Suarez then eating them all. In fairness it would be a pretty scary prospect - and of course Suarez isn't cuptied for European football if he moves in the window. I really hope he goes in january as the beel from Merseyside will be spectacular.

The grease! The hair gel! The self adulation!

The whole of Madrid would risk being sucked up their collective arseholes.

Messi is brilliant, no doubt about it, but Ronaldo does it at club and international level.

Yes it is interesting how that "little" fact is always glossed over when the Messi acolytes engage in the argument. i'm not sure that there's much difference in quality between Argentina and Portugal so it's very relevant to the debate.

Not really. He's been a bit better recently but he rarely stamps his authority on matches for Argentina in the way that Ronaldo does for Portugal.

LM10 has scored 37 goals in 83 games for Argentina (43%)
CR7 has scored 47 goals in 109 games for Portugal (43%)
