SaintsWeb user van Hanegem also posted a summary of a radio interview in the Netherlands, in which Ronald was asked about Saints.
It is similar (I posted a video that now doesn't work)...so looks like the radio interview and video were done at about the same time. I did find it interesting that he almost cried watching the players running around showing lack of control. Bit of an exaggeration, Ron...you may not have liked the speed which involved a reduction in control, but they aren't that bad. The players have mentioned his increased emphasis on ball skills and we have seen what effect that has on the field. In the video, he mentions Sammy Lee's prematch talks which involves a lot of swearing I find Lee's employment interesting...he obviously brings PL experience into the management group, but did Koeman know him or was this purely a Les Reed appointment. Whatever it is, it obviously works.
Also interested me that reporters are not allowed to fim at Staplewood. We saw a lot of footage in the close season but nothing since they reported back for training. Must be pretty special!
Perhaps they are going to have a big spread in one of the papers, so don't want spoilers. Or....they have stripped it all and sold everything and don't want us to know
