    Ron Hillyard will be the next Gillingham Legend to appear at Priestfield Stadium this weekend.

    Finally we will have a player introduced on Saturday who fits the term "Gillingham Legend" perfectly, Ron Hillyard made 657 appearances for Gillingham and kept 202 clean sheets during his 17 season's at the club and I am sure Ron Hillyard was Player / Assistant Manager when Damien Richardson was manager as well.

    A player before my time, but obviously making that number of appearances puts you into the 'legend' category. Not bad this legends idea, Andrew Crofts is back Tuesday.

    Ron Hillyard my favourite player of all time. He is quite simply Mr Gillingham to me.

    Hillyard is a good choice but would really love to see Jarvis at some point during an international break also Simeon Jackson for obvious reasons!
