What you all think about him ? Tall, strong, fast and skillful lad from Belgium, he's only 17 and plays for Anderlecht. Scored 25 goals in 54 appearances and seems like he will be one of the best strikers about in the future. ( Deemed the new Drogba )
He's rated at around £25 million which isn't bad at all for a player who is already scoring goals and is one of the biggest prospects out there.
The bad thing is, is that Chelsea and the Mancs seem to be interested and if reports from January are right, Chelsea had a bid turned down, so it would be increasingly difficult that we could prize him to Newcastle. But i guess money talks big and if the fat man upstairs is serious about investing in players of the future, then he is an ideal player that undoubtedly fits that description.

    Heres a video :

Chelsea had a 25mil bid rejected in January, a great player but I'd say we have a minimal chance of signing him. The top clubs have beaten us to this one as well by the look of it.

Youtube video and class on FM - I think we've probably already bid for him.

The only bonus of a move to Newcastle instead of Man Utd, Chelsea et al is that he stands a chance of being a first choice player with us.

Man Utd and their ilk would most likely use him sparingly or in the reserves for a while as they have a plethora of top talent to choose from.

The kid is one hell of a talent though but at 17 can he break past the likes of Torres, Anelka, Rooney and Berbatov?

My bad... didn't see that, but then again he might be 'forced out'.

Has he finished school yet? Pretty sure that's one of the main reason's he's still in Belgium. But as already said we've not no chance, as much as I'd love us to sign him.

We wouldn't have a chance to get him.

Looks to have a bright future ahead of him though, wouldn't mind seeing him play in the Premier league.

Plus if we sneaked into Europe we wouldn't be such a bad option, but 25 million for a 17 year old? With the pressures of the price tag as well as being first choice, if he doesn't hit the ground running we're gonna have to be pretty patient and try not to heap to much pressure on him. As tempting as it is to buy 'the next Drogba', we need someone who we know will do the business next season.

Quality player, however he is playing in a lower level league and next season we really need someone that we know will score 10-15 goals, and I don't think we can be taking these kind of risks yet.
