Obviously the short term future looks a little bleak and the prospect of a return to the Championship is very real. On a personal note I think the blame lies in a number of areas, and is not the point of my post. What we all have to remember is that we DID get back to where we belong and should the worse come to the worse let's all be thankful for that wonderful day last May when the news came through that we were CHAMPIONS. Yes this season has been ****, but as the title says 'Rome wasn't built in a day' and maybe we have to stoop to conquer. No matter what happens over the next 10 games, you'll still be here supporting the team you love, won't you? U Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs!!!
7th May 2011, a day we'll always remember and, more importantly, a day money couldn't buy. We don't have too many title-winning days, but when we do we enjoy them all the more because of the pain we've been through over the years. The uncertainty of everything that morning made the day such an unbelievable high. If we had to go through all that we can go through anything, bring it on! U Rrrrrrrrrssss...
I believe anybody here wont abandon this great club when we probably go down. It wont be the end of the world as long fernandes and mittall stay with us. We will build a new team with more wisdom and teamwise. A bit younger and more eager team who will promote us in a season or two. Then we could wave norwich and swansea goodbye when they are goin opposite direction when their fairytale is over.
May 7th 2011.... Being there was a priceless experience. Once an R, always an R. We will have our day yet again. Our club has a soul.
i have supported this club for just over twenty years now and to be fair it went pretty much down hill from the start. the last two year have been the best two years for a while. and with amit and tony in charge it will only get better. Both have said they will take it slowly. lets hope they leran from the mistakes of the season and we keep building. there is no way that they will spend the money they have this year for us to sit in the championship if we go down. here is another saying that we can all take on board "Some times you have to go backwards to go forwards"
Of course we will be there. Sadly, there will be a few who were only supporters for the Premier League Experience. They will still come to the bigger championship games but less so to QPR v Doncaster etc (if Donny are not relegated). They will be back with the next promotion, especially IF a new stadium is being built too.
