Roman is selling the Club - statement on official site right now…

…..very sad news for me. Roman Abramovich has taken this club to dizzy heights from when I first watched Chelsea in the ‘70s. He’s also donating to the victims of the Ukraine war and that could put him deep in the mire with Putin who is known for torturing and killing opponents.

 

Whatever his true situation is with Putrid, he has been a fabulous owner for Chelsea, even allowing for his hair trigger with Managers. We would still be running around the bottom of the table, fighting relegation every year without him as owner. Just pray we don't get a US Consortium or Middle East Dictatorship as new owner.

 

There’s very few who can afford to buy us and I’m pretty sure that Roman will make sure we go to the right person.
I’m saddened by the fact that it has come to this but it think it goes to show how serious things are in Russia and Ukraine and for how long the powers that be think it will go on for.
We really couldn’t have had a better owner.

 

yeah, he's been great for us. Developed us and helped us with continued success.

Even now with sanctions on him and the world wanting the club to fail, he's doing his best for the club.

He's been a proper fan and it's a shame that it has come to this

 

…….there’s a lot of jealousy regarding the success of this club under Abramovich. A lot of clubs were used to us being the club they could rely on beating - that's certainly changed with Abramovich’s input.

The latest news coming out is that Chelsea has been seized. Players and staff will be paid but the shops store has had to close and no more match day tickets are available to anyone other than season ticket owners.
This is most certainly a very serious situation now. What happens should Chelsea win more trophies. Where does the money go? What does this mean for the clubs immediate and potentially mid term future?

 

Gift the club to Ukraine. They can sell the assets to help fight Roman’s mate.

 

Never questioned where he got his money from, then ? Just so long as the Club won a few trophies.

It is an asset which belongs to a supporter of Putin bought and built on money he got from Putin and his policies. You sold your soul when he bought you, you have no right to complain. Gift the whole club to Ukraine they can sell all the assets to buy what they need to stop Roman’s mates from murdering women and children.

If you make a deal with the devil don’t be surprised if you end up as the victim.
