Been watching YOUTUBE over this very, very, very ,very boring weekend & thought to myself, as I was there watching the game live, I´d search for the TRANMERE v LEICESTER lge cup final & watch the high lights again. So I did just that, but YOUTUBE being YOUTUBE it lead me to the Mid´boro final(s) & then to the play off final wins & I just got carried away with it all.

Who remembers these classic games ? 1995 Derby for i.e a 2-1 win for LC, STEVE WALSH legend, say no more. 1996 Palace 2-1 Parker (pen) & that shin of a Clarige. Boro 1-1 Bruno stabs it home. The replay, Boro lead out by NP no less, 1-0 win to LC & the 2000 Tranmere lge cup final that I traveled over a 1000 miles (round trip) for, 2-1 win for LC (Elliot 2) thank god they won that one. Left out are the games v Blackburn & Swindon, shhhhhhhhh say no more. Oh the 90´s.

Derby was my first trip to Wembley. Also my first first team match. My only other game was a reserve match earlier that season when Sam McMahon scored in a 1-0 against Man U.

I like looking back at some of Joachim's early work. Some of those solo runs with an outside of the boot top corner finish from 25 yards would be ****ing material if it happened now

I remember a classic from the Sven era, where we lost to Ipswich in half a foot of snow. Funny how Roy Keane seemed happy for that match to go ahead...

That match was a joke. I remember saying before that whoever scored first would win because all they'd have to do was sit back and wait for the ball to get held up in the snow.
