OK ex pats who is going for the first game of the season this year? Melbourne Tiger? Dan Kelly? Canada Tiger?
The reason I am asking is that the OSC want to do a thing about us crazy folks that travel half way round the way to see city play and there might be tickets involved. Now if we play someone like Man Utd it might be hard to get in because all the plastics will be snapping up the tickets.
Now last season I bought 6 tickets for our little gang for the Brighton game but it wont be so easy this year. If you are going over let me know and I'll see what I can arrange for the first match be a bloody shame to go all that way and sit in west park and listen to the crowd cheering wouldn't it

Purchased 2 season tickets. Didn't want same as last time around in 2008, either what was left in the North or nothing at all, so took care of it.

I think it would be much more appropriate of fans who go to every game got priority, rather than you lot who only bother turning up once a season.

Nobody makes a big deal when I go on holiday, I can't see why it should be any different for you lot.

For the last 14 years I don't know how much I have spent on watching City ... Moving to Cambridge 13 yrs ago made is probably easier to go to away games but Home games didn't miss many.

Pissed off last time in the Premiership because I didn't need a season pass before we got there and used to go to I reckon 75% home games and around 50% away games.

320 mile round trip for a mid week night match and every other week was a pain but ya do it don't ya?

Would I ever change it Naaaa !!!

Then we hit the Premiership suddenly I had to get a season pass and queue halfway round the stadium enduring a rainy night outside (but we had a laugh) to get one.

Now working in Qatar I saw 4 games this season but We will suddenly have 20+ thousand LOYAL fans again.
Not moaning really because we need the KC full.

Just a little insight into my world since leaving our great city

Keep up the great work on this board it's a life save out here.

    <cheers>

Well where where all them devoted mother ****ers this season when I just walked up to the tiger leisure and paid 180 quid for 6 tickets for the Brighton game the day of the match. We fly thousands of miles every season to see city play, why should we miss out to ****s that can't even be bothered to get a bus across town to see them unless we are playing Man Utd did you ever think of that?

It's well known that there has been somewhat of an economic boom in Hull recently and that many people who couldn't afford to go this season will now be able to next season.

In any case, it still doesn't explain why you should get any credit for simply going on holiday.

If I went on holiday to Madrid should I get priority tickets to the Bernabeu because "I've travelled all that way to see them"?

Well if you were from Madrid and you had been going to see Real for many years and you wasn't going on holiday but going home then yes you should get priority.
Economic boom eh? Funny how they couldn't afford tickets in the championship but suddenly hey presto "hey I'm making more money now I think I will buy a season ticket for Hull City" ha ha ha.
If we had been selling out all this season then I would agree with you but we haven't have we, are you honestly telling me a person that plans his holidays around the start of citys season every year and flys 5000 miles for it doesn't deserve a ticket over someone sitting in the west stand hoping Liverpool or Arsenal win or just goes when we are in the prem?

Well I'm going to organise my holidays around the Champions League final then in hope of getting priority tickets for that.

Tbh I'd rather the Liverpool and Arsenal fellas got the tickets, because at least they wouldn't be making themselves out to be a hero on here.

You go on holiday and watch football, get over it.

I was home last september and took my lad to watch us smash Millwall 4-1. I don't have any plans for a Hull trip this season - it will be each game live on fox sports for me, beers in hand

I wonder if other clubs have fans that feel so entitled, and groups of fans who look down on others?

Really are you serious? These guys are not going on a jolly they are coming home from all corners of the globe to support their club. I thought it was a bit of a WUM attempt TWF but your replies worry me a bit.

They spend more in airfare than many spend on season tickets to get to one game. As John said, give your head a shake lad.

Yes they get a priority or a bending of the rules to allow them to get to the game but they make such an effort to be here why the hell not????
