Hello all, just a quick announcement about the future of our website. It's good news in the main, but I felt I needed to update everyone on the goings on.

    http://rokerreport.com/2011/02/23/roker-report-whats-going-on/

Please note, where it says we have a messageboard, it's part of the package, I have to have one. I will in no way be trying to lure people away from this fine Forum, and I'm not arsed if nobody visits mine, I'm all about the blogging really. I just need that to be known.

Thank you for reading, and please apread the word to anyone you know who reads us.

From what I've seen Roker report is excellent and long may it continue.

    On a more negative note.
I hate to knock my club. All I seem to do lately is knock my club but I honestly don't like what's going on.
First we have Quinn slating fans who have made a conscious decision that Premiership Football is just to expensive in these uncertain times.
I don't bye the argument that people spend thirty quid on beer instead of a ticket. And if they do, so what, It's their money. You don't hear the MD of coka cola complain if you dare to buy a Pepsi. If he did you just may turn around and say. "Improve your product. I could be back".
Then Quinn hints at stepping down if we don't all pull our weight!! Really? Our attendance is constantly top seven. Shame the same can't be said for the team eh.
And now we hear the pettiness has reached new levels. Threatening a Sunderland fans website because it dared to show pictures of over paid blokes who are privileged enough to pull on a Red and White shirt. Disgraceful.
It's just money money money. Well **** them.
It's not success at any price. Not for me anyway.

I don't think it's petty from the club, they're just doing their job I suppose. I'm surprised/pleased Roker Report is even on their radar. They've been quite helpful and co-operative and aside from the initial shock I got from the opening letter, not threatening at all.

As said in the article though, this time next week we should have a new site, with a full on picture license and more. So just keep your eyes peeled. The site might look a bit boring for a week or so, but it will still have exactly the same content, so please continue to read!
