Well, finally the break is over, and we can look towards the City game. That said, there were others in action last night - Mignolet kept goal for Belgium in a 4-1 win, Riveros played the full 90 as Paraguay beat USA, and Angeleri played 90 minutes for Argentina against Costa Rica in a dull 0-0. These internationals have shown that Sunderland have some excellent individuals within their squad. The 100 dollar question is can they develop into an excellent team?
I think so. On paper it's the right blend of youth, experience, and experienced youths. Should go along way with showing to potential signings that they won't be forgotten at SAFC and actually can further their careers with us.
