Great performances by our Ghanaian trio leave Steve Bruce with some thinking to do ahead of City trip... http://www.rokerreport.com/2011/3/29/2079325/gyan-goal-sunderland-ghana-england-welbeck
Sorry Roker, but I don't open your links anymore since some people related a computer virus to it. However, I do echo your sentiments...
Fair enough RA, but I assure there is no virus issues any more. So I'm telling people Now, it has been cleared up. Anyone experiencing problems, which can't be many, should email [email protected] with details of what happened. That's the final word in that, and let's focus in what was a great night for SAFC.
Virus apart mate I would prefer you to put a synopsis of what is being said. As lately all you do is link to your site! This is a football forum where I come to read fellow supporters comments and thoughts. Not follow links, I could do that by going to Google. Nee offence like.
Yeah see what you mean, I don't really like people posting links to other places as it is unnecasary advertisment for non footballing reasons.
Point taken mate, I do try to include a synopsis but I realise I could do with upping my game. Apologies.
Good piece my good man, and a very interesting point on the midfield pushing on beyond Gyan. It's certainly something we have the players to do (assuming they are played in their best positions Jordan, Sulley) With Catts back, i think and hope Muntari will be pushed forward for the weekend, there's a goal or 2 in that lad, 100%
That's one of the annoying things, we certainly have the players to do it, but will we? Good God I hope so! And would love to see Muntari more advanced. I don't recall him 'holding' at Pompey to be honest.
He's got a cracking left on him, hopefully having Catts back will give some freedom to the rest of the midfield lads, Sulley, Sess and Jordan(on the RIGHT!!!!!) can surely cause anyone problems. Looking forward to Sat, all of our lads have done good on the break, surely Wellbeck will be on a high, goal for u21's , England debut, and a match against his clubs rivals.
My thoughts entirely Muntari should be where Henderson gets played. You know Muntari will have a pop if a chance comes his way and normally his accuracy is better than his efforts tonight. Catts can look after the back four.
I tend to agree a fully fit Catts will hopefully see Muntari in a more attacking role.Tonight proves beyond doubt how lethal Gyan is.Add in Wellbeck and Sess and it's only a matter of time before we destroy some team.Maybe not City but soon.
Well they say a change is as good as a rest, stick hendo on the right where he plays his best football. Also, I was talking to my mate during the game, we were talking about how the midfield were running in behind and creating options and space for gyan. Definatley more of this needed back in the Sunderland squad.
I didn't intend to cause any upset Roker, and I appreciate your work and contributions in promoting our clubs interests. What I would say about these internationals is that they have shown that we have some very good players, and the question is, can they develop into a very good team for Sunderland...
