Continuing our international specials, one of our guys - Dan - lives in France. He's had all kids of bother following the lads, so read his words and for those of you who can, get to the SoL while it's still easily available. http://www.rokerreport.com/2011/3/25/2067089/you-dont-know-what-youve-got-until-its-gone
i too miss the match dys, living so close to roker park i grew up with it, even as a kid trying to sneak into the cliff or the derby to be around the big lads and listening to the banter, then of we;d go to the roker end, hoping to get a good spot. then time moved on and work etc took me all over the place, but my passion for match days still remains, and when i get to the uk try to get to as many as possible but my point is, as much as snq doesn't like it i rely on televised games, and unlike france which apparently isn't far from the uk, i get to see every game live, also spanish, italian and german if i want, all with english commentary. as good as it is, dan is right, nothing beats the real thing, especially now we are an established prem team. take the chance go and see safc v man u/ arsenal etc. good forbid we ever get relegated and you miss your chance
