    One has to assume that the game lasted just under 90 minutes, and not the treatment to his knee!

    I'm surprised Andy played in this one. Thought he would have pulled out like Federer and Nadal.

    Nice touch with the cake. They're nice folk the Canadians.

    It's difficult to say if it is a good idea to play or not, these players have not played on hard courts for 4 months, and the US open is only 3 weeks away, so I think it will be a good idea. I watched the match and it was pretty much a walk in the park. Cincinnati is next week and if I remember correct it is sweltering over there this time of year so might be good if he were to win this and go out early in the other event or vice verca.

    Only Andy knows how he feels about playing so soon after the olympics, maybe he felt he was on a roll and wanted to keep his momentum going.

    Andy has now pulled out of this event, it was a big ask so soon after the olympics and I guess he needs to preserve his fitness for the US which is coming up soon.
