    This would be dreadful. Half of the teams in the playoffs devalues the regular season significantly.

    Ah but if you have more teams a lesser team may win the Superbowl like The Browns that would be awesome <laugh>

    Agree with Mr Nice, you may as well get rid of the regular season and go straight to the play offs... Best of the best need only apply/reach the post season..

    it's all about money pure and simple. all the bs about player welfare and safety yet they want to introduce extra games? and as the players are on salaries the extra revenue would go straight to the owners.
