Now that his red card has been rescinded, and rightly so, I know nothing can be done to alter the result of the game, but it still seems a bit of a none starter for me when we have professionals who play act to get fellow professionals sent off.
Lets hope it backfires and the culprits try it once too often and get booked themselves, or do not get the benefit of the doubt because of their shennanigans.

Suarez should get some sort of action against him, as he clearly play acted in order to get Rodwell sent off.

I hate Suarez purely because of how much he simulates and play acts to get opposition players sent off and win a foul.

There's also the small matter of the handball in the WC QF, though if we'd know then where the bloke who missed the subsequent penalty would end up, we'd probably have applauded it! I do think Suarez is a little **** tho, he bit someone during a game man, what a little animal.

He is just a blatant cheat, and even when he is found out he still dosen't appologize and will just try again next week. Something needs to be done as more players a play acting and getting away with it

Suarez is an overated horrible little scumbag of a man. I hate him more than I hate Ronaldo. Watching that game on Saturday he is a selfish ****er and bitches at his team mates if they don't pass.

If you try to touch Suarez, he'll make it look like a leg breaker :D

Suarez is a cretin thats cheating attitude football could certainly do without. Consistency of referees have to be looked at here also. This is the same Martin Atkinson that failed to take and action against Nigel De Jong after a double leg break challenge on Hatem. He should be demoted for negligence, that red card ruined the game on saturday and a red card for De Jong could have changed our game last season!!

Suarez and other divers will earn far more cards for the opposition than he will ever receive himself for his diving. It really needs to be cracked down on.

If Rodwell and other players can have cards removed due to replays showing opponent dived then why cant the player diving be retrospectivaly punished as well

When they've got clear evidence like that, the guilty party should be punished. It's a bit of a mockery that the guilty person is proved guilty but gets away scot free.

I don't know how the FA could overturn this, the incompetent ref clearly saw it.

Did anyone see the North London derby at the weekend. Modric couldn't buy a free kick, he was taken out a couple of times and nothing was given, the commentator suggested his reputation for diving (a reputation I was unaware of) was probably going before him. Rightly so in my opinion.

The FA would probably argue that it was still a foul though, just not a red card, therefore no action should be taken against Suarez. Bit of a joke really!!

I ****ing hate Suarez but the criticism he gets for the World Cup handball is out of order. It's a legitimate tactic, he knew the consequences and he took one for the team. I know for sure I'd have done the same thing for England in his position. It was Gyan's terrible penalty that put Ghana out, not Suarez.

It's the way he behaves every week, that whiney look on his face and the abuse he gives officials whenever something doesn't go his way, the way he blatantly dives to get people sent off and penalties that makes him a disgrace to the game. Such a shame as well as he is a brilliant player, so talented.

I was really annoyed after watching the Liverpool /Everton derby, the dive was a real game spoiler for me, but the press interview by Dalglish was a disgrace. He showed none of the genuine enthusiasm of a manager of a winning team, he was guarded and obnoxious, I was squirming in embarrasment myself. He's been in the game long enough to sidestep difficult questions from reporters without being such a t**t.
As for Suarez, I can't believe he actually bit someone. Hope the recipient of that is up to date with their jabs.
