Utterly predictable. After another lucky win, tikitaka was always going to come out with some kind of OTT praise of his own work. Is he likely to be right? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-new-Liverpool-dynasty-like-Bill-Shankly.html Creating a dynasty? He is more likely to produce dysentery
Surely this means that they are going to challenge for the title next season, right? Because they won their last game... As the saying goes: "You're only as good as your last game", that must be Tika Taka's mantra or something.
Ok christian it's ok this is only a little set back. Your Liverpool tourettes will get better, just keep telling yourself that you are a Man Utd over and over again.
The guy never learns. As soon as he gets a win, he is off with his grand visions and his "we will get a champions league place" predictions. Only with the miserable ******ed scousers can he get away with this...
makes no sense at all, not even as a joke. Searching Liverpool articles Fistian, and then failing to understand the basic English used to compose them Rebuilding it like it once had been rebuilt, is comparing situations not people Time for another sedative cos the orderlies told you not to be going outside the ward and be shouting at passing traffic
I'm confident that you may well get over your Liverpool fixation, it has been a good start to the day with only a few mentions and very little incorrect swearing. Well done.
If you read the article he's making a valid enough point. He's saying he wants to do as they did, not that he is already doing what they did. He would get more stick if he were to say "**** Shankly and Paisley, I've got no intention of trying to replicate what they did", or something like that anyway. This seems like one of his least Brenton outbursts to me.
He was on Talkshite as well this morning, he's a PR master that lad, he's all over it after a win & then conspicuous by his absence after a defeat.
I do like the "he has restored the original iconic sign" bit. And the picture of him there with a claw hammer like he put the ****er up himself
How? If he is comparing his self to Shanks then surely it means he has several years to win the league
The only reason he's trying to associate himself with the Shankly dynasty, is to sow the seeds of patience, buying himself time & dumbing down the immediate expectations as he's only in the "building" phase & therefore shouldn't be expected to actually deliver anything, that's apparently a couple of years down the line...........We live in a different era, an era where he's just spent over £40m on new players this season...
